The University of Sao Paulo Partners With USM.world

The academic institution expressed delight in the latest development. USM.world also stated that the future of digital society revolves around diverse institutions and communities. That is why it is crucial to establish such a relationship with USP (University of Sao Paulo.)

With the collaboration, USP will become the first-ever institution built on the SSR land in New Harvard. Denoted by 493301, New Harvard is a domain within USM’s ecosystem. Marcos A. Simplicio Junior, a University of Sao Paulo professor, talked about the partnership.

According to Marcos, this is the first time USP has gotten a non-fungible token as its assets. The university is willing to create multiple spaces for interaction between and with users (visitors, researchers, professors, students, etc.) within the ecosystem.

Headquartered in Escola Politecnica, UBRI (University Blockchain Research Initiative) is lending its assistance to the cause. Several university researchers will participate in the partnership to elevate its success rate.

USP aims to conduct metaverse research in several areas, especially psychology and education. This way, it can assess behavior and learn in interactions and classes within the ecosystem.

Blockchain technology has made smart contracts a prevalent entity in Web3 and metaverse. With multilateral and multichain becoming the norm, centralized companies will quickly lose market dominance, which is why partnerships like this act as a focal point for the blockchain community.

Several scientists, Olympic medalists, and celebrities have joined multiple universities to serve such purposes. Some of these universities are the University of Southern California, Cambridge University, The University of Texas at Austin, University of California Irvine, University of California San Diego, Istanbul Technical University, Middle East Technical University, University of Hong Kong, Bilkent University, Rangsit University (DIT), Silpakorn University (ICT), Princeton Blockchain Society, University of Nigeria, Kasetsart University (KU Blockchain Society), Hacettepe University, Çankaya University, Purdue University, Arizona State University, Dhurakij Pundit University, University of Benin, Uludag University, Thammasat University, Galatasaray Üniversitesi, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Sabancı University, etc.

Given the stature of the involved parties, the partnership is sure to be a success and will add immense value to the projects and the blockchain industry.
